2022 California High School State Championships

After a two year hiatus, California High School State Championships are back! California Ultimate is excited to host both the Girl’s and Open divisions on May 14-15, 2022 in northern California. At this time we – with the help of our USAU Youth State Competition Coordinator Jacob Barr – are accepting expressions of interest so we can ensure we have fields and formats that can accommodate all teams that wish to participate.

Financial Aid: CUA highly encourages individuals to apply for financial support if they are unable to pay part or all of the event fees. We want to make sure that our sport is accessible to everyone. If your team or a player has financial barriers please look into and act on the following:

  • The Play It Forward program provides free USA Ultimate memberships to new youth players with financial barriers. Apply by clicking here.
  • The Delrico Johnson Fund provides free USA Ultimate memberships to new BIPOC youth and college players. To apply, the new player can simply start setting up their USAU account on the website; they are then automatically qualified after filling out the demographic section.
  • Email us prior to registering for the event so we can seek and provide the support your team needs.
